Four people have been arrested following the discovery of a commercial cannabis growing operation in Auckland.
Police in Waitemata said searches at five addresses uncovered sophisticated growing operations, 500 cannabis plants and about 8kg of dried cannabis.
Large amounts of cash and a modified .22 calibre pistol were also found.
Police said the seized cannabis had an estimated street value of $600,000.
Those arrested will appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
