Sir Owen Glenn is taking former business partner Eric Watson to court over their joint ownership of the Warriors rugby league club.

The men have been at loggerheads following the axing of Matt Elliott as head coach in early April this year.
Sir Owen's lawyer Ian Fraser said on Friday his client is seeking more than $6 million from Mr Watson, in return for giving back his half stake in the club to Mr Watson's company.
Mr Fraser said Sir Owen believes it's not good for either of the co-owners or the Warriors for them to be at odds with each other.
He could not give an exact date for when the case would be heard.
