Waikato have won the National Rugby Sevens title, beating Bay of Plenty 21-14 in the final in Queenstown on Sunday.
Bay of Plenty led 14-7 at half time.
Earlier in the semi-finals Waikato beat Counties-Manukau 12-nil and Bay of Plenty beat Taranaki 19-17.
