A man accused of attempting to murder a police officer has had seven fresh charges laid against him at the Manukau District Court.
The 28-year-old man is accused of shooting Constable Jeremy Snow three times, in Papatoetoe in December.
In addition to his attempted murder charge, he now faces charges including committing a dangerous act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, assault with a firearm and unlawfully taking a car.
His name suppression was lifted on Wednesday but that is now subject to a High Court appeal, which is yet to be scheduled.
