The son of the woman dubbed the "Black Widow" has pleaded guilty to possessing and selling cannabis and the unlawful possession of a firearm.
Adam Kearns' mother, Helen Milner, was jailed for life last year for murdering her husband .
Today in the Christchurch District Court Kearns admitted dealing in cannabis after the police pulled over people seen leaving his South Shore home with amounts of the drug ranging from 3 to 300 grams.
The court heard a search of his home revealed a further 400 grams of cannabis hidden in a wardrobe along with a sawn-off shotgun and $5490 in cash .
Judge Jane Farish ordered Kearns' electronic bail to continue. He will be sentenced in April.
