A police officer has been charged with offensive behaviour and will be appearing at the Pukekohe District Court next month.
The police have been investigating an incident involving two off-duty officers over the New Year's weekend.
The other officer was earlier charged with disorderly behaviour and is now on bail. He is due to next appear at the Manukau District Court in February.
Police are giving no details of the nature or circumstances of the incident.
An Independent Police Conduct Authority investigation is being carried out.
