The Government's offender levy has reaped $16.6 million since its introduction in 2010.
All offenders have had to pay the $50 levy once sentenced, with the money then being used to help victims of crime.
Justice Minister Amy Adams said the money raised so far was $3 million more than expected.
She said it would be spent on 15 new grants and services, including a programme for women and families at risk of domestic violence and additional support for families of homicide victims and victims of sexual violence.
