The number of people moving to New Zealand or staying long-term has continued to hit all-time highs.
Official figures show a net gain of 53,800 people in the year to January, the sixth month in a row that the annual record has been broken.
Statistics New Zealand said the number of arrivals hit a new high of more than 111,500 due to more foreigners arriving, as well as New Zealanders returning from Australia.
Fewer people are also leaving the country.
