Four high school students were injured this morning in Te Awamutu when they were hit by a car while waiting for a bus to go to school.
The students were hurt but were treated at the scene by ambulance staff and did not need hospitalisation.
The driver of the car was a 17-year-old with a restricted licence, who is believed to have been in breach of the conditions of his licence.
He has been spoken to by the police.
