A man was rushed to hospital on Saturday after being crushed by an out-of-control golf cart on a course near Taupo.
A Waikato Hospital spokesperson says the man, 66, was playing the Wairakei course when another golfer lost control of his cart and crashed into him.
Trapped beneath the cart till other golfers lifted it off him, the man was flown to Waikato Hospital with multiple injuries, including fractured ribs.
