Police have caught a man at the centre of three car pursuits in the Lower Hutt area on Tuesday.
They say officers had been seeking the man since Monday but would not say why.
Police say patrols began two chases after spotting the man in a blue Mitsubishi Gallant on Tuesday morning, but abandoned both because he was driving dangerously.
They say the third chase ended with the man's capture in Waiwhetu Road at 2pm after spikes were used to deflate the Mitsubishi's tyres.
Police say the pursuit ran through the Lower Hutt, Seaview and Petone areas, but ended without injury after about 10 minutes.
