Two 14-year-od boy appeared in Waitakere Youth Court on Monday over a sex attack on a girl the same age on Friday.
The pair face charges of abduction for sex, assault with intent to commit sexual violation, aggravated robbery and indecent assault in relation to the incident on Friday afternoon.
Police describe the attack as horrendous. They say the victim knew her attackers.
Suppression orders were imposed and they were remanded in custody to a youth justice facility for three weeks.
