Workers have walked off the job at a national car dealership over claims of unsafe working conditions and racial abuse.

The car groomers who work for the 2Cheap Cars in the Auckland suburb of East Tamaki are protesting outside the company today.
They contacted the Engineering Printing and Manufacturing Union yesterday after walking off the job, saying they were being subjected to racial slurs from their employer.
The union's national industry organiser Louisa Jones said they also had no proper safety equipment.
She said the union had contacted the Human Rights Commission and Worksafe.
Emanag Pritt-Singh has worked there for six months and said workers were scared to speak up in case they lost their job.
Mr Pritt-Singh said 2Cheap Cars management often fired people on the spot for no reason.
The company would not comment on the claims but said it was organising a meeting with the union representing the workers.
