The Department of Conservation is urging walkers and trampers to report any damage to tracks in forests, parks and reserves in Wellington following recent storms.
It's already come across fallen trees and track damage in the Rimutaka Forest Park.
There are more than 760km of tracks in the region.
DoC says digital photographs and GPS grid references will also help the department quickly find damage and speed up the repair process.
