Armed police in Hamilton have arrested a man wanted in relation to a series of offences in Tauranga.
Peter Bunning, 32, was wanted on a parole recall but also on several warrants issued for his arrest following an incident in the Bay of Plenty.
The police say the charges include dangerous driving, failing to stop, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawfully carrying of a pistol.
They say Peter Bunning was found at an address in Te Rapa this morning and he was arrested without incident by the armed offenders squad.
