New Zealand beat Australia by 51 runs in the one-day cricket international in Wellington on Saturday.
New Zealand scored 241 for nine in their 50 overs with Scott Styris top scoring with 55 and Daryl Tuffey getting 36.
In reply, Australia were all out for 190 in the 42nd over.
Shane Bond and Tim Southee both took four wickets.
Australia has retained the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy winning the series 3-2.
