Kebab man now in stable condition

A man attacked at his kebab store on the North Shore of Auckland is now in a stable condition in Auckland Hospital.

Police describe the attack on him as an unprovoked case of extreme violence by two unidentified males on Wairau Road in Glenfield at about 11pm on Thursday.

The man, 39, was earlier in a coma in intensive care.

Police say he has severe facial wounds and his injuries are horrific.
