The High Court has refused to grant continued name suppression to a woman facing charges of visa fraud involving Filipino dairy workers in New Zealand.
Loraine Jayme, 35, is yet to enter a plea on 284 charges including forgery, supplying false information and obtaining by deception.
Hamilton District Court lifted interim name suppression in December, but it was appealed to the High Court.
Mrs Jayme claimed releasing her name would mean extreme hardship to her and her family, especially her two young children.
Justice Wylie dismissed the appeal saying it did not reach the threshold of extreme hardship.
He said the children may face some embarrassment, but their well-being could be managed at home and at school.
Justice Wylie also said there was no evidence that lifting suppression would have any significant health effect on Mrs Jayme's in-laws and that the two people who sent the threatening emails obviously already knew her name.
