Vodafone customers in Auckland are without email or internet access following a fault during an equipment upgrade.
The company says it does not know how many people were affected by the outages, which customers report began on Wednesday.
But Vodafone says the fault began on Thursday and has been fixed.
It is advising customers who are still experiencing problems to switch their modem off and then back on.
