New Zealanders are taking to Twitter to show what they're making for dinner, while watching RNZ's newest show Checkpoint with John Campbell.

Since the beginning of Checkpoint with John Campbell (is it really only 11 weeks ago?) people have been sharing what they're cooking for dinner as they watch the programme. We thought we'd share some of our favourites, and give you recipes to make your own.

From the programme's first day on air, Dunedin's Paul Le Comte has been inviting Twitter into his kitchen as he cooks along.

Cottage pie, Moroccan chicken on couscous, casseroles and fruit crumble are all dishes Mr Le Comte has cooked up while watching the show.

Soon Lee made us hungry with a grilled lamb chop and delicious looking sides.

Lee Rowe shared an amazing looking roast, with homegrown produce.

RNZ's own Mark Cubey followed the programme while making some sturdy looking meatballs.

Meat seems to be a theme - @BattChap tackled a venison curry that may have taken longer than the programme's 90 minutes.

For those of a vegetarian persuasion, Shirlina Deans tackled a tofu goulash.
