The 10-year-old boy who went missing in Waikanae earlier tonight has been found safe and well.

Police earlier appealed for the public's help in finding Nathan Daniel Callaghan, who was believed to have left home before 5pm.
They said the boy had autism and was likely to be wearing only boxer shorts.
He has been known to try car doors and climb and likes to play near water, especially the beach, they said.
