Huntly police are urgently looking for a man who may be armed, who they believe is driving a grey Mitsubishi Legnum.
Police said they want to talk to the man about an incident earlier today in Huntly.
The number plate of the vehicle is ESJ805. Police said anyone who sees the vehicle should not approach it, but should call 111.
They have not revealed details of the earlier incident.
