Police are interviewing six occupants of a Hamilton house following an armed offenders callout on Friday.
Armed police cordoned off streets in the suburb of Enderley just before 11am following reports of a shot being fired.
Police say six people from the Mardon Road house are being interviewed and a plastic imitation M-16 rifle has been seized.
They say a youth in his late teens is being questioned over the weapon.
The armed offenders squad has been stood down and the cordon lifted.
