Kim Louise Richmond was last seen leaving her Wharepapa South farm in a silver Ford Ranger ute on 31 July.

A member of the public found personal cards last week on State Highway 46 at Otukou, nearly two hours' drive from Ms Richmond's home.

Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson said a specialist search team had searched the area, but failed to find anything.

"We're quite satisfied that the search we have done has been extensive enough, but we'd still ask the public to keep an eye out for anyone travelling on their own, and if anyone in the last few weeks has travelled on that road and noticed a vehicle throwing anything out of a window, we'd like to hear from them."

Police have also lowered Lake Arapuni, near Ms Richmond's home, by two metres to help their search.

Ms Richmond, 42, is of thin build and about 162cm tall, with an olive complexion and dark hair.

She was wearing a Highlanders rugby jersey, blue jeans, a brown leather jacket and brown boots.
