Motorway crash may cause delays for exam students

9:50 am on 21 November 2008

There are delays on the southern motorway in Auckland after a truck and car crash.

Both directions are partially blocked between Drury and Papakura.

The accident may affect students sitting NCEA exams on Friday: candidates are being told they can start half an hour late at 10am.

The Qualifications Authority says extra exam papers will be on hand at colleges north and south of the crash.

Schools that may be affected include: Papakura High School, Rosehill College and Manurewa High School.
