Part of State Highway 1 on the Kāpiti Coast north of Wellington is closed because of a crash.
A car has flipped onto its roof about 1km north of Pukerua Bay.
Both lanes were closed.
Police expected to be able to open a lane shortly for northbound traffic to go around the crash site.
Southbound traffic would be diverted over the Paekakariki Hill Road.
