A gas leak that caused some houses and businesses in Waitakere to be evacuated has been fixed.
Houses and businesses along a 1.5km stretch of Brigham Creek Road in the suburb of Whenuapai were evacuated after a digger hit a large gas main.
The road was closed from State Highway 16 to the local shops.
