A 23-year-old Auckland man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was beaten, kicked and stomped on early this morning.
He sustained facial and head injuries from the attack which happened on Karangahape Road.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and a 21-year-old has been charged with assault with intent to injure.
They will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
The police are seeking witnesses to the incident which happened about 2.30am today.
