The police dive squad is in Takaka today to help search for a man who has been missing since last week.

James Rano Dick - known locally as Hemi - was last seen on Wednesday afternoon and was reported missing by friends the following day.
Police said he was seen in waist-deep water in the Takaka River, wearing only khaki cargo pants.
Three Nelson investigation staff were in the area.
