South African rugby coach Peter de Villiers is praising New Zealand's preparations for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
He and logistics manager Charles Wessels are spending two days in Wellington, inspecting Rugby World Cup venues and accommodation and meeting the team's support officials.
Mr de Villiers says the organising committee appears to be on track and the Government is playing its role brilliantly.
He says he hopes Wellington people will get behind the Springboks while they are based in the city, because there won't be enough South Africans to support them properly.
