Police say a South African woman who was thought to have gone missing in Otago or Southland has been found.

Elmarie Hall, 43, had been visiting New Zealand and was reported missing on Monday.
Police said she had been staying in places like Te Anau and Dunedin, and was believed to be driving a late-model silver hatchback, possibly a Toyota Corolla.
They released a statement this afternoon saying Ms Hall had been found.
