One person has died in a crash at Albany north of Auckland.
The police said five passengers were injured in the crash on Oteha Valley Road at 1.30am today.
Meanwhile, a crash has blocked one lane of a major highway near Palmerston North.
Police said four people were seriously injured in the crash on State Highway 3, just north of Bulls, at about 8.30am.
The southbound lane is blocked.
