The Horowhenua District Council has lifted the precautionary boil water notice it issued for the Levin water supply on Friday night.

Heavy rain left the town's water supply plant struggling to meet demand and treat muddy water from the Ohau River.
In a statement the council said Levin's water treatment plant was now refilling and was over half full, adding the water was clean, treated and there were no issues.
It acknowledged the notice was inconvenient for many and had caused some frustration but said the council had to be on the safe side.
"We take no chances when it comes to the quality of the water that is being sent out to the community.
"The uncertainty around the dirty status of the river required that we stay on the side of caution," the statement said.
It said the notice was one of the reasons the council was spending $3 million upgrading the treatment plant.
