All Whites jerseys snapped up

The All Whites main World Cup jersey is all but sold out, a month before football's show piece begins in South Africa.

New Zealand Football says the maker, Nike, has been unable to keep up with demand for shirts.

It's understood once the few jerseys remaining in stores sell, no more will be available before next month's world cup.

In Wellington, the RYOS chain of stores is down to its final few shirts. Its Lambton Quay store assistant manager Adam Ryan says the short time available to produce the shirts was always going to work against Nike.
