Ms Williams flew to Auckland on Wednesday night and visited Mr Jackson at Waatea Marae in Mangere.

Earlier in the week Ms Williams publicly criticised Mr Jackson after it was announced he would be a Labour candidate, because of comments he made during the so-called 'Roastbusters' investigation into under-age sex.

Mr Jackson apologised again for any hurt and yesterday Ms Williams also apologised to her party for the way she went about it.

Mr Jackson said he wanted her to have a kōrero with him.

"Those decisions are her decisions but I reiterate I think she is a good woman, principled women and passionate woman and I only wish her well."
