The body of a woman who went missing while fishing at Lake Taupō yesterday has been found.

Police searching for Barbara Thompson recovered her body this afternoon.
Mrs Thompson, 75, was a keen fisher.
She went fishing off the Waitahanui River early yesterday morning, but failed to return home.
