Air NZ flights running as normal despite ash

3:02 pm on 18 May 2010

Air New Zealand says flights to and from London are running normally again, after a no-fly zone was lifted.

London's airports were shut for six hours on Monday because of more volcanic ash from Iceland, delaying one flight out of Los Angeles for 19 hours.

The airline says that flight is en route now, but a return flight to Auckland will be delayed by about half a day.

It says all services leaving New Zealand for London on Tuesday night will operate as scheduled.
