A man trapped under rocks in the upper South Island is now in Wellington Hospital with serious injuries.
Police were alerted that the man, aged in his 30s, was trapped near Kaihoka Point in Golden Bay at about 8.15pm on Tuesday.
He was freed by 11pm and flown by helicopter to Wellington.
