Police in Australia say a 50 year old man from New Zealand has died after the helicopter he was piloting crashed in the Gippsland region of Victoria.
They say the aircraft hit power lines on Thursday afternoon and the man died at the scene.
A report is being prepared for the coroner and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating the crash.
