A woman's body has been recovered from a car which went off the road into the sea near Christchurch yesterday.

The car left the Main Road and went into the estuary at Clifton before 6pm yesterday.
A man, who police said was related to the woman, managed to get out of the car after it fell and has been treated in hospital.
Police had been searching for the other passenger before the dive squad found her body in the car this morning.
They said they were investigating the incident.
