A pharmacy robber in Wellington snubbed methadone and cash in favour of morphine tablets worth $30.
Detectives say the man was "agitated" and made violent threats at the Johnsonville medical centre pharmacy on Saturday.
Police say his actions appeared to be that of someone who was desperate to get their next drug fix.
