A man who died after a truck pinned him against a wall at a construction site near Queenstown yesterday was an American citizen.
Phillip Anderson Loving, 63, who lived in the Queenstown area, was working on a septic tank at Closeburn Station yesterday afternoon when the accident happened.
A 19-year-old man who was also trapped was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with critical injuries.
