Police are searching for a Dunedin woman who has been missing since early yesterday morning.

Nicola Hedley, 36, was last seen at a Harington Point address on the Otago Peninsula about 2am on Sunday.
Sergeant Richard Panting said teams were searching the area, and surf lifesavers in rescue boats were making a coastal sweep.
Conditions were less than ideal when she went missing, with heavy rain, he said.
He said people should check their properties, garages and outbuildings for Ms Hedley, who was described as being of average height and build, with long dark hair shaved on one side.
