Flights out of Christchurch are being delayed and cancelled this morning, as heavy fog blankets the city.

The Christchurch Airport website shows flights to Invercargill, Queenstown and Auckland have been delayed due to the weather conditions.
Earlier this morning flights from Hamilton and Napier to Christchurch were cancelled.
Metservice said the fog should thin out by midday, but could return in the evening.
