The father of a baby girl has been charged with her murder in Turangi.
The nine-month-old died in the Central North Island town in March last year .
Police said her 40-year old father has been arrested and charged with murder after an extensive investigation that included consulting medical specialists on what caused her death.
The man is due to appear in the Taupō District Court next week.
