Missing boatie's body found

A body found in an Auckland Harbour is that of missing man Tevita Kava, police have confirmed.

Police said Mr Kava's body was found in the Waitemata Harbour yesterday morning.

Mr Kava, from Mangere, went missing after he fell off a charter boat into the harbour on 3 June.

He was 29 years old, and could not swim.

Police have notified his family and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
