Life support ended for baby injured in crash

Life support has been turned off for a one- year-old boy injured in the car crash which killed his father in Auckland.

Christopher Francis Tobin, 51, died when the car he was driving collided with a bus in Mt Eden on Tuesday.

His two children, who were in the car with him at the time, were seriously injured.

Police said the one-year-old's life support was turned off this morning.

The second child, a two-year-old girl, was in a stable condition. Police said she was expected to make a full physical recovery.
