A High Court judge has ruled that Anthony Shaw, 47, who lives in Japan is Mr Banks' son.

Mr Shaw filed legal proceedings against Mr Banks claiming he had a relationship with his mother in the 1960s.

Justice Courtney said Mr Shaw was brought up believing a Chinese man was his father, even though he did not have Chinese features, before his mother told him Mr Banks was his father.

Mr Banks has refused to engage with the proceedings or undergo a paternity test.

But Justice Courtney said on the balance of probabilities Mr Banks was Mr Shaw's biological father.
