The occupants of a car who picked up a driver fleeing from a fatal crash in Auckland could face serious charges, police say.
Kathleen Wilson, 25, was killed when the stolen car she was travelling in crashed into a house in Onehunga just after 10pm on Friday.
Two girls, aged 16 and 17, were seriously injured and are in intensive care in Auckland Hospital.
Police say one or more occupants of the Nissan Pulsar fled from the crash scene in a second stolen vehicle.
They are asking the public for help identifying them and the people in the second car.
Police say the occupants of this car could face charges ranging from failing to stop to assisting someone to evade detection.
