State Highway 1 just south of Hamilton has reopened after one person died in a crash between a car and a truck.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Tamahere near the Airport Road off ramp at about 3pm today.
Police said a person in the car had died and the Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
